Rockstart Impact, is a Business Support Program designed by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. It aims to provide rock-solid support to Nepali startups with innovative business model that has enormous potential to generate measurable and beneficial social impact alongside financial return. With local and international expertise and tools, 10 Nepali entrepreneurs go through 100 days of intensive coaching to come up with a polished business plan that is investment ready.
After the success of the first edition, Rockstart Impact is calling in applications for the next batch of ambitious Nepali entrepreneurs. The program aims to focus on companies that can make a viable contribution to rebuilding Nepal after the devastating earthquake of April 2015. The upcoming season is scheduled to start on January 6, 2016 and interested entrepreneurs are expected to apply by December 5, 2015.
The ultimate goal of the program is to help entrepreneurs raise investment and connect them with the international community.
Red Mud Coffee, Inter Continental Services, Abari and Waste Concern Pvt. Ltd. are among the eight out of ten chosen startups from 2014 that were able to raise desired investments to scale and sustain their impactful startup.
